Dune War for Arrakis (& Expansions) Insert / Box Organizer (Unofficial, fan made product)
from $77.59
This is an insert for the new CMON game Dune: War for Arrakis and its expansions Smugglers & The Spacing Guild. Our main goal with this design was to allow both of these expansions to fit in the base game box, we also made it a lot easier to get this game setup on your table! This is an unofficial fan made product for this game, we are not associated with the game's publisher in any way.
-Each player's components are organized in their faction's tray.
-This will support sleeved or unsleeved cards.
-You can store the game either horizontally or vertically and components will not lose their places in the box.
-Each set of units (normal, elite, leaders etc...) have their own labeled spot in the trays.
-This will organize all of your tokens and pieces very nicely so everything is just about ready to go when you put the trays onto the table, shaving MANY minutes off of setup time.
-This will fit the upgraded plastic tokens from the Kickstarter campaign.
-If you don't own the expansions, this insert will still work just fine, just load in the two empty trays as normal.
If you own the retail version of the game, this will work but you will have about an inch of lid lift, a couple of customers are already happily using this with the retail box.
-This isn't an upgrade in every sense. You do lose the individual spots that came with the cheap vacuum form trays from the factory, however you gain an easier method of retrieving your miniatures with the bins for each unit type. I do wish I could have given most pieces their own individual home, or at least allow them all to stand up properly instead of having bins where most pieces have to be "laid down" but with the expansions in the box and the complexity of some of the shapes there simply wasn't enough space for that. For the size of the insert, I did price it a little cheaper than I normally would have for this reason. It is still an excellent storage solution and a great aid in gameplay, setup and teardown!
If you use especially thick sleeves on your cards (I think 100+ microns) the slot for the large stack of Harkonnen cards may not be tall enough and you may need to store some of these cards in the extra card slot in the worms tray.
